Which Glasses Should I use?
Your Nexus system comes with 3 pairs of glasses. While they work exactly the same, there are times when you will want to use a specific one. This page will provide more details about each pair.
See Through Glasses
The see through glasses are the most often used pair, mainly because they allow you to perform other tasks while wearing them. These have eye holes so you can see normally like any pair of glasses. The LED stem lights are located around the eye holes and you will still get the benefits of the flashing lights. These are ideal for use when you still want to perform tasks while using your system. You can read, work on the computer, watch TV, do chores, go for a walk or socialize with them on. Do NOT use them while driving or operating dangerous equipment.
An ideal time to use these glasses would be in the afternoon, when many people start to get tired or lose focus. You can put these on, start a disentrainment session and still perform work tasks or other activities. The disentrainment session should have the effect of perking you up and increasing focus and attention. Using the eyes open glasses lets you still perform your normal duties while training.
Eyes Closed Glasses
The eyes closed glasses look like a normal pair of sunglasses, but these have the eye fields blocked. The LED stem lights are located around the peripheral of the eye, which will offer the best intensity for training. You can still see the room with your peripheral vision, but we do not recommend moving while wearing these. The best position for use will be sitting in a chair, on a couch or in bed and just focusing on the flashing lights and sounds.
Sleep sessions are ideal with these glasses, as are slow wave session where you are likely to fall asleep or in a trance like state. For all night sleep loops, these are the best glasses to use. You put them on the nightstand next to you so that you can still see the flashing lights in the dark room. Many mental health sessions use these glasses, as there are commend to follow that require your undivided attention.
Immersion Glasses
These are ideal for the ultimate sensory experience. They are not see through, so you should only use these when lying down in bed or in a comfortable chair and reclined. They come with a shield around the eyes to block out peripheral vision.
These glasses will be more intense, and you should always start with your eyes open while wearing these. As the session progresses, you may find it hard to keep your eyes open. At that time you can close them and finish the session in whatever state is most comfortable.
These glasses will be more intense than the others, so be aware of this. You can always lower the light intensity directly on the Nexus and find your comfort zone. Given the intensity of the lights, these glasses will be the most effective for results.
